Well here I am with the legend that is Doug Stanhope at the start of his UK tour in Manchester, helping with back to back press and photo opportunities. We finish at the Hammersmith Apollo on April 21st. Comedy dogs rock.

Doug Stanhope’s nationwide tour starts on the 6 March, so wherever you are, there is no escape.

As I am sure you know, Max turned down The Artist, as he is much too busy with his celebrity lifestyle commitments at the theatre.

New Pilates Teacher

Cheryl Liss has now joined the teaching team at Bloomsbury Space. Cheryl is a highly experienced teacher, having both taught and trained Pilates teachers for the Body Control Association since 1996. She has a dance background with English National Ballet Company and a wide variety of different dance and performance styles during her career. Cheryl has practiced Pilates, both personally and professionally since the 1970′s and is a great addition to the staffing team.

My mate, Laurence, the Soho plumber, has started auditions and rehearsals for his play, Burnt Oak. Tickets now on sale from the box office at the Leicester Square Theatre. I am a very busy and excited canine co-producer.

The studio will be hosting a new activity when Aikido of London moves to the Bloomsbury Space on July 5th. Aikido of London is a martial arts school directed by Ismail Hasan with tuition based on the Japanese disciplines of Aikido and Iaido. Students develop physical and mental conditioning whilst learning a highly skilled martial art.

A trial session is available for beginners on Tuesday and Thursday 6.45 – 7.40pm. Fee £5. Private classes available on enquiry.

The studio specializes in remedial exercise, specifically aimed at hip replacement, knee and spinal problems, both pre and post surgery. Our highly qualified staff are available for consultation, exercise and support.

Now reached the first anniversary of the move to Bloomsbury, which has been a great success.

In January, introduced a new staff line-up: Sandra Turnbull, whose background includes dance, Pilates and artist, and has her paintings on display in the studio. Dalh Haines, musical theatre, yoga and massage therapist. Manuela Tronchin, Pilates trained and teacher with Alan Herdman.

The Green Room will soon be open for relaxation and socializing.
